DESCRIPTION

FLOWTECH Make Electromagnetic Flow Meter are intended for measuring flow of electrically conductive liquids in closed pipe lines where the magnetic flux permeates the entire cross sectional area of the liquids flow. Electromagnetic flow meters measure electromotive forces to determine liquids velocity using Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction and compute the flow rate using equation of conductive liquids having minimum conductivity of 5 micro Siemens / cm and are relatively immune to the effects of temperature , pressure , viscosity & density of the flowing liquid.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

This is working on the principal of faraday`s law which states that when a conductor moves through a magnetic field of a given strength a voltage is produced in the conductor and proportion to the relative velocity between the conductor and the magnetic field.

                Description:

                ADDMAS full bore meter is a cost effective flow meter for conductive liquids such as Raw Water, effluents, Potable water and industrial chemical. Using time proven electromagnetic flow metering principle, ADDMAS flow meters are available for pipes from ½” NB to 6” NB. Since there are no moving parts, the flow meter gives years of maintenance free service. Its performance is independence of temperature, pressure, density and viscosity of medium.                 ADDMAS has all the features required in field mountable metering equipment.                     Electro Magnetic Flow Meter

                    Description:

                    ADDMAS full bore meter is a cost effective flow meter for conductive liquids such as Raw Water, effluents, Potable water and industrial chemical. Using time proven electromagnetic flow metering principle, ADDMAS flow meters are available for pipes from ½” NB to 6” NB. Since there are no moving parts, the flow meter gives years of maintenance free service. Its performance is independence of temperature, pressure, density and viscosity of medium. The flow meter is obstruction less and hence the pressure drop is almost negligible.

                    ADDMAS has all the features required in field mountable metering equipment. These include-weather proof / flame proof enclosure, RS485 communication option , with 4 to 20 mA isolated Current output for Flow signal transmission option for process control. The converter is available as field mounted – IP65 protection category. An optional batching controller also available on request.

                    It works on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic induction. A magnetic field is generated by magnetic coil. The fluid flowing through this magnetic field generates EMF (Voltage) which is proportional to the flow velocity. This EMF is measured by the Electrodes giving corresponding output.

                    Used for precision measurement of any conducting liquid or slurry that is flowing in closed pipes.
